About the job

Based in Amsterdam, Zien Group is formed through the union of the Dijkstra family, founders of Eden Hotels, and KSL Capital Partners, a leading global private equity group focused on travel and leisure. Zien Group acquires, repositions, and operates hotels and hospitality businesses, using an owner-operator model. With decades of proven industry expertise, acumen, and creativity, they are driven by the potential to exceed expectations and ensure their businesses reach their full promise.

Zien Group is looking for a People & Culture Intern.

Are you into learning about People & Culture in an organization? Does the hotel industry make you happy? At the Corporate Office of Zien Group, we are looking for a People & Culture intern. You will gain hands-on experience in the field of human resources and talent acquisition. You will work closely with our People & Culture team to support the recruitment process, employee engagement, take care of our central administration, learning and development, and various HR initiatives. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to learn and grow everything there is to know about People & Culture within a hospitality industry leader. It goes without saying that you have a talent for organizing and that you always work accurately. You love to offer your colleagues solicited and unsolicited support. And that's a good thing, because that's more or less your core business.

Overall, the People & Culture Intern will:

  • Participate in People & Culture projects related to training and development, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Support the maintenance of employee benefits programs and assist with benefit-related inquiries.
  • Coordinate new employee onboarding and orientation processes.

  • Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process, including posting job openings, sourcing candidates, conducting initial screenings, and scheduling interviews.
  • Maintain and update the applicant tracking system, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct research and recruitment analysis
